This project, named "Casa Vera", is a multi-generational home built in the country-side of Vankleek Hill.
One goal was to give the appearance of a single-family home when seen from afar, with several approaches to the home that represent a "Front Entrance" depending on the user.
Despite a significant footprint, there was great effort put into finding a balance between creating expansive areas for entertaining, intimate spaces for privacy, and mutual elements that manage accessibility.

In order to build this multi-unit home for the client, we needed to give the appearance of a single-family home from the street, but still provide separate entrances and plenty of space for the both the primary family and the in-law suite attached.
The house blends country farm-house styles and features, with a touch of modern elements to form a beautiful home for the family to enjoy for generations to come.

Situated on a country lot outside Richmond, this home adopts a more tradition style, with emphasis on the large and elegant country front porch. High quality finishes throughout the interior, and an attached garage and in-law suite above. The screened in porch with vaulted ceiling makes it difficult to choose whether to entertain guests inside or outside the residence.

The project involved constructing a 3-storey detached house, with the ground floor level acting as the garage and stairs to the second floor.
